l How does CCU choose a scholarship winner for international English-Speaking
programs?
All the applications will be reviewed by Colleges of University,
the evaluation will be mainly based on applicants’ school transcripts, study
plans and other materials required.
l Which will the scholarship from CCU cover?
For
master students enrolled in English-Speaking Programs:
1.
CCU scholarship represents a
significant investment in your education, providing tuition and fees waived in
two years.
2.
Assistantships are also available
for international students who enrol into the English-Speaking programs as
well. Students will be entitled a monthly stipend of NTD 6,000(About USD 200)
based on a 36 hours per month work-study service (TA/RA/AA) for 1.5 years. This
monthly stipend will be no more than 9 months each year, which will help you to
cover partial living expenses (such as dormitory fee), not including the period
of the summer and winter recess. Both scholarship and assistantship are only valid
after your enrolment to CCU.
3.
Free Chinese Courses
For
undergraduate Students enrolled in English-Speaking Programs:
1.
For recipients of the scholarship,
tuition and fees will be 50% waived for 4 years.
2.
Free Chinese Courses
Please note:
² All English-Speaking program students (both scholarship recipients
and self-supporting students) are required to pay the dormitory fee and the fee
of medical insurance.
l How much do I have to prepare for studying at Chinese Culture
University paid by my own fund?
1.
Tuition and Fees:
The following tuition and fees rates apply only to the 2012 fall
semester. Tuition and fees are subject to change annually. (There are two
semesters in each academic year.)

Living Expenses:
In addition to tuition fees and housing costs, cost of living
expenses are estimated to be around NT$4,000 to NT$7,000 per month. Book
expenses vary from course to course. The cost for books is expected to be
around NT$500 to NT$3,000 per semester.

Medical Insurance:
This is the fixed cost (NTD 749/per month) based on the regulation
of Taiwan government
l How can students pay for the application fee?
The
application fee shall be remitted to the university account according to the
remittance information. To apply for more than one major, please multiply the
application and fee according to the number of majors. Please send the copy of your
application receipt with documents required for admission and applications
devoid of a paid application fee will not be processed.
Please
select “OUR” for payment in the Outward Remittance Application Form of your
bank. You shall bear all the remittance fees. In addition to the remittance fee
paid to our bank, you might need to bear the fees for the correspondent bank
and the receiving bank.
